Recently I have taken up quite an interest in makeup. Well, really the interest has always been there, just for the longest time it was on the back burner as more important things took up my time. I just graduated high school which means I do have some more time on my hands. With a little bit of my graduation money I bought some new makeup so I figured it would be a place to start. I already have a vast collection of things I have bought over the years but never really used. Considering my love of blogging and my love of makeup, I thought I would combine the two and create a makeup blog of my own.
I know I know, there are already hundreds of blogs out there with a focus on makeup and reviews, but I am just doing it because it is something I would like to do. I will begin with the makeup I just bought then go through what I already have. Optimistically I plan to post once a week. I may enlist other writers as well.
That, though, leaves me with a dilemma. I don't know if I can add other writers to a blog on Google. I know you can on Wordpress, so I might have to abandon Blogger for Wordpress if I want to have other writers as well.
Well these are just my thoughts for now. I would love your feedback as always.

Ranting About Writing
Ever have one of those days where you really want to write but you have no idea what it is you want to write about? I have been having those for weeks. I sit and stare at my computer willing an idea to pop into my head. Even while I was trying to work on a paper I had no idea what to write. I must admit that this paper now sits unfinished when it was due last night at midnight. I know what few readers I have, have been waiting for me to post another chapter in my book, but I am already unhappy with the re-write. I have seven chapters posted and I am about to start the romance in the book, which is usually my favorite part, but I am having some difficulty. Ketara and Meizame are my favorite characters that I have written, so I don't understand this writer's block.
The only thing I have bee able to write is more characters. Here is where I seem to notice a pattern in the characters I create. They are all rather similar in personality. I seem to be unable to deviate from the personality of the mental fuck up with a horrid past. All my characters have some sort of emotional problem that makes them cold and fighters. I think the problem is I have issues deviating to far from my own personality. The only character, that I am proud of by the way, that is more away from the rest of my characters, is a new character I wrote only yesterday, Scarlet VanSlyke. A half human half angel who thinks she is only human and has never known her angel father. She is normal and a kind person. I am proud that I deviated so greatly from my regular pattern.
I want to write stories with her, but I have hit a dead end, all my stories even, are becoming similar. The last good story I wrote was The One With Death In Her Hand, about a school shooting and suicide. All of my stories have a dark side to them, its just harder for me to write about something happy. Well beyond romance that is.
I found my old writer's notebook from good old Creative Writing class I took my Junior year of high school. I found a long lost, sexual fan fiction I started writing out of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. I was obsessed for a long time. I own the entire series that is released so far, I have only read to the sixth book, but that is because I became distracted by The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I might actually finish said fan fiction that I wrote, the only problem is if I will be willing to post such a story on my DeviantArt page.
Alright I think through writing this I did give myself something to do, but what I truly want to do is something with Victoria, something with a legend or prophecy involved, something to do with her father. Below is the basic character layout of Scarlet, if there is anything you would like me to write about her let me know! I am looking for suggestions. Name: Scarlet VanSlyke
Race: ½ Angel ½ Human
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Hair Color: Scarlet Red
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 119 lbs
Appearance: Average height and skinny. Her scarlet hair is long and shiny, at about waist length. Large emerald green eyes. Light freckles dot her pale skin. Usually wears medium dark brown eyeshadow with thin black eyeliner lining her eyes with dark pink lipstick. Naturally thick eyelashes. Her nose is pierced on the left side with a small white gold and diamond stud. Her wardrobe consists of a mix of prep, punk and goth essentially, edgy. Here ears are pierced three times on both lobes and twice on the top of her right ear. On her left shoulder, she has a tattoo of vines and roses that goes across to her left shoulder. On her left hip she has a wing shaped birthmark. Her navel is pierced with a rose piercing. Her features are naturally soft and she has a graceful appearance.
History: Born to a human mother and an angel father. The angel Mikeal came to Earth from the Realm of the Gods. He met Cecelia VanSlyke and fell in love almost instantly. Neglecting his duties, he stayed with Cecelia. When she became pregnant they both panicked, neither of them had heard of a half angel, half human child before.
The Gods were outraged. Initially they wanted to abort the baby, but after a great amount of resistance from Mikeal and Cecelia, it agreed they could keep the baby, but Mikeal would not be allowed to stay or see the child. He was only allowed to stay until the baby is born.
Scarlet VanSlyke was born a healthy, normal looking baby. The day she was born, Mikeal was sent away and forbidden to see the child.
She lived a normal life, living in Tucson, Arizona. She was told that her father left when she was young. To this day she does not know that she is half angel.
Personality: She is a rather sweet person. Kind hearted and rather quiet. She usually keeps to herself. Rather brilliant, she passes quite a bit of her time listening to music, reading and writing. She enjoys school and likes to learn. She does have her quirks, like blushing easily, and stumbling over words when she gets nervous. Rather caring, she becomes protective over those she cares about and can be a bit jealous. A hidden fiery side, she can be short tempered if you get on her nerves. Normally she won’t turn down a fight if she is challenged, but she doesn’t give people a reason to challenge her. She is extremely loyal and it can be her downfall at times.

Dislikes: Disloyalty, hip hop music, evil, cruel people

Change
It's funny how fast things can change. They could be fine but your life could drastically change in a matter of seconds. My life has been nothing but change for the past few weeks, nothing seems to be the same anymore. Friends have come and gone, new classes have come, my graduation is impending. The fast approaching end to my senior year of high school is frightening to me. It will be such a grand change in my life. I am afraid of loosing connections with the people I care about in high school. It is going to be one of the biggest changes in my life. I know some of my close friends are moving away right after high school. I am not really sure what to do for college. I don't have the money to go. My grandmother said she had it covered, but she lost the money in the stock market. So life is definitely getting interesting.
I know this isn't a riveting first blog post, but it is what is on my mind at this moment, I wish sometimes that things were simpler, but that doesn't help anyone in the end. I just have to keep moving forward. The future is never for sure. I don't know what I want to do in college, but I know I want to do something with art or photography. I like sciences too so I don't know I'll get creative. I have been taking art since kindergarten literally. It is my passion next to photography. I am scared of the future but at the same time looking forward to it. We will see where it goes and this blog will get more interesting I promise!
